The 7-Star Drawing Challenge
Illustration is a funny thing. On the one hand, it is one of the most rewarding activities I take part in, and would certainly be the greatest job to have in the Grand List of Jobs Currently Held by Human Beings*.
On the other hand, it is a tireless demon that demands your constant attention if you want to get any better at doing it. And, it may be implicated in your family’s disappearance.
The best way to deal with illustration’s duality is to simply do it for a living. One rock. Two birds.
But that’s not always possible**, or at least not always possible at the exact moment you’d like it to happen, which puts you in my position: working full time at something else while illustration sits on the back burner. So you don’t do it as much, and you don’t improve, which makes the goal of doing it for a living that much more elusive.
Enough of that crap. We need less Shinji, and more Rock Lee. So I give you…
