Actually moderately happy with this. I think it may even be a few fixes away from being “finish” worthy.
The only big disappointment here is in the line quality. I think I’m going to have to start doing my inks in vector, or blowing up the pieces to A4 or so before using traditional inks or final pencils. Or maybe my sketchbook has too much tooth. I dunno. Either way, it’s less smooth than I’d like.
Not important for the goals I’ve set in PDOG, but something to think about when I start producing finished work again.

It seemed so real
I had a dream where I was part of a special forces team with Kari Byron and Grant Imahara from MythBusters. We were sent to the pyramid level from Goldeneye on the N64, and when we got there, it was full of couches, which we hid behind (we were special forces, you see).
Saddam Hussein was there and he, too, was hiding behind a couch, which leads me to believe he also had special forces training. Like all good, deceased dictators, he chased us with a rocket launcher. He didn’t shoot it at us; he just chased us with it, cootie-style.
Then Kari started shaking, and pink GoGurt started pouring out of her joints, and her arms fell off. That was when I realized she was a robot all along. I can only assume this was Grant’s doing.
“Downtown” from Little Shop of Horrors started to play then, and it is still on repeat in my head.
I didn’t exactly wake up screaming, but if I ever had any plans to try GoGurt, they are dashed to the ground.

No, but seriously. Totally out of captions.
Some more rough hands before bed. Feeling very comfortable with relaxed poses (woo!). Need to move on to more fists and grasping poses. And foreshortening, which is a major weakness of mine (at least in the hand sketches). Almost every good pose idea I get in my head has the hands pointing towards the viewer, so I’m sitting on a bunch of potential pieces for no good reason.
You shall be conquered, foreshortened fingers*.
But first, some video games and sleepytime.
*Those with stubby digits, please do not be alarmed.

"Heart 4? I don't understan...OH.(blush)"
Another quickie. Really starting to get more comfortable with hands, which is both a semi-shock and a joy. Even though I can see problems with the anatomy here, I knocked the hands out in moments without my usual elaborate planning — and they look better than some hands I’ve spent half an hour on.
They’re still not where I want them to be, but they’re definitely becoming less of a stumbling point, and that’s good. Hoping to have some more drawing time this weekend. Really in the mood to draw, but stressing out at work. Should be over soon, though.
…
The stress, not my job. I think.
