About 40-50 minutes — but largely just fun, detail-y time. Main pose complete in about 15-20 minutes. No reference*. Definitely going to continue with the daily drawing — seeing more improvement on the daily plan than with the 7-Star weeklies.
And, I’m almost having fun with drawing the hands. Almost. =) Hands in every pic till I get there!
*No kidding.

More falling poses. Makes it easier to try new angles. I also just played the Just Cause 2 demo, and spent most of that half hour falling. Probably just coincidence.

Actually moderately happy with this. I think it may even be a few fixes away from being “finish” worthy.
The only big disappointment here is in the line quality. I think I’m going to have to start doing my inks in vector, or blowing up the pieces to A4 or so before using traditional inks or final pencils. Or maybe my sketchbook has too much tooth. I dunno. Either way, it’s less smooth than I’d like.
Not important for the goals I’ve set in PDOG, but something to think about when I start producing finished work again.
